Anzitutto mi piace la pulizia dell'immagine. Pur avendo utilizzato un'ottica grandangolare apprezzo tantissimo (ed invido) la tua capacità di non inserire nella foto alcun elemento che porterebbe a distrarsi ed a perdere la bellezza dello scatto.
Pur essendo ricco di particolari (le rocce in primo piano, gli scogli emersi, l'isola, le nuvole, il faro, la casa in fondo, il "castello") tutto è estremamente bilanciato.
Di solito non apprezzo gli scatti con l'orizzonte a metà poiché non si capisce mai quale aspetto ha prediletto il fotografo, eppure in questo caso la tua scelta è di un equilibrio disarmante.
Terra, acqua e cielo si uniscono nel comporre un'immagine perfetta. Come perfetta è la natura. Il tuo occhio non ha fatto altro che cogliere i particolari, dargli un senso e scattare.
Non da ultimo complimenti per la PP che, mediante una gestione curata di luci ed ombre, crea un intercalare di livelli che danno tridimensionalità all'immagine.
Il bianco e nero, infine, spesso enfatizza una drammaticità, invece in questo caso rievoca il dolce ricordo di mare nei mesi invernali: quando la brezza punge la pelle ma il profumo di salato ed alghe penetra nelle narici.
