Of this photo, even before reading the caption, I was struck by the graphic elements of the snow; so I'd say you've hit the mark. Very nice of course the landscape. Hello Raphael. :-)

thanks I'm glad of your passage

@ Marco
the sun, also saw your intentions, so we're good view of the haze, perhaps it would have been unnatural to star.

is the first time that I feel it to say, this morning I have watched him through the haze of the Po Valley and is just so, so it's totally burned in the center, with the outer edge of the yellow but not even the shadow of stars:-D: - D:-D I know it's only the effect of the wide-angle lens and aperture, but in these cases I prefer it really well, of course remains to be improved in this post I realize.

only three pictures ina week wandering through the mountains?? Come on, I really like watching your adventures!

the best is yet to come:-D aparte jokes I still have several photos to publish, but I like to do a little bit of time to understand the tastes and critiques the forum users who come to see me ;-)
thanks for your contribution
a greeting, simone

@ Giovabubi, @ Rafafele a thanks to you for your comment

even before I read the caption, I was struck by the graphic elements of the snow

is also the one that struck me even before the main stand, at least in what I have achieved my goal ;-)

a greeting, simone

And now I say to my friend Mauro (Pedalopoco)
First of all, next time try to be more concise because we do not have the time to read so much:-D:-D:-D

your analysis, I can understand, but unfortunately I do not share the simple fact that I do not think you have a lot of passion for the super wide-angle shots (Conoco also as photographers so I think I speak advisedly).
The vision of the human eye is notorialmente compared to that of a 50mm focal length so according to your reasoning should be photographed only with the focal .. even with the canvas as you like them ;-).
I "unfortunately" I love the wide angle and I could not help it meno.La vision of certain focal agree with you that stravolgano reality, but this is part of the photo you want towhen she was born, then logically tastes are not discussed.
if I had to get to the shelter (unlike Prisma comments) my eyes would not see this scene - try to slide the photo down and stopped where the lines of the snow on the left and right corners touch - This here is the scene that probably would see it)

Instead, try to think about when you get on a peak .. what you do you always look down just beyond your feet (the lines) and occasionally look up to the summit to realize how much more you tap kick to get to the top (the refuge ). ;-)

For me observer that I am going to that shelter me a little 'made you want to look for before the access road to the shelter itself but admire the rest

First there was the dirty snow, thentoo many trails for skiers on a slope, a good time I found myself alone with no pain in the ass, you'd like to see in the footsteps of Gianmarco? I do realize that I was leading the way:-D

hello and thank you for your comments, I know how they feel and I thank you for that, I hope I have justified at least in part my compositional choices then you can also tell me that you do not meet that I'm not offended of course, the two of us we know - )

hello to the next

ps here is take a cue from the length of my message for next time:-D

Very nice foreground even if a bit too large (takes up half pictures), so I would see a good 16:9 on this occasion, so that would give greater weight to the top.
Maybe it's just me but I see it for myself, as well as on the spur of dark dx, there is also a clear area on the sky above the shelter. Quisquilia. ;-)
I find it rather soft in the picture contrast level (as well as the previous posted), but I also know that it is my own personal taste. This softness may be explained by applying the glow that I think a backlight so, where already the haze and refractive soften the sharpness should not be used.
The fact remains that it is a good picture, even if the previous one is preferred. :-)
A salutone :-)
Ilario

PS Gianmarco the sparrow is actually a Chaffinch Alpine friend of visitors to the refuge Nuvolau ...:-D

@ Hilary
You are never satisfied .. but sooner or later I will succeed I swear:-D
thanks as always for your careful analysis, on 16/9 does not find me in tune, unfortunately, for two reasons
first, because I get lost all the depth that I wanted in the second half of the lines on neve.Cavolo I spent a fortune for that "hell" of goal and you want me to cut off a piece of focal length? :-D:-D:-D
depending on whether the well-known lines in the snow, I made sure (and this time I can safely say) not to cut any line in the second half, the first you see is perfectly framed, then if you look below you will see that I could not do otherwise .. believe me There are a lot of those lines turned around to find the right compromise.
is like cutting a stone, a CESPUCouncil or a pond in the foreground, even for the lines for me was worth the same thing.

foreground even if a bit too wide (occupies half photo
)
to me that all or almost consider it a first floor, for me it is the subject of the photo, but everything is understood the development of the ridge to the hut included, do not know if I can make the idea .. is not the classic picture with the fore front moved from one side of the background leading to the mountains .. look here you should stop at the shelter ... and the absence of the confirmation in my view, at least that's my interpretation, but as usual in photography count tastes and also definitely take note of your:-D

I'm sorry if I have dwelt but I really like talking about photography with you and me who expressed their perplexity without problemà on foto.continua so please ;-)

Gianmarco the sparrow is actually an alpine Chaffinch

I apologize for my ignorance on the subject of birds ;-):-D:-D

@ Simone
The 14-24 is a bad (good) beast and brings with it a virus: it is used almost always to 14mm. and it is so wide angle field and embraced things that will come that sometimes the viewer of the picture does not realize immediately what is the true subject. ;-)
One thing that I like about you is that you have a meticulous care in the composition. Nothing is there by accident.
So I understand and I accept your explanation.

Gianmarco the sparrow is actually an alpine Chaffinch
this is a fact (jokingly) not addressed to you but to Gianmarco: it is he who has called hillbilly ... sparrow! :-D :-)

Hello Simon, I thought I had taken off from your feet, and instead here I am, with my visions. :-D:-D:-D Fine all three pictures posted and I think with a logical sequence; morning, noon and evening (in a metaphorical sense). The beginning is always difficult and often we find ourselves in the midst of the multitude (the dirty snow), mid-day it is a guide to what is past, and enjoy the beautiful memories (and the second photo is the proof), then the evening, full analysis and elettrizziamo us for our successes (with the sun rays through the clouds, illuminating the peaks), but then the house (hut) which gives us security and the ripples of snow guide our gaze toward the sinuous ridge that partially conceals the shelter. And just the fact of knowing there relaxes us.
Apart from my personal interpretation of the three shots, reallycongratulations both for climbing and for both pleasant and lovely photos.

At the next

Riccardo

This time, on the first floor have nothing to say ;-):-D I'm like Max composition a little strange ... I would have preferred to see more left the landscape of peaks and nuvole.Non I do not like it, but it seems to me lacks the technical side qualcosa.Sul nothing to say, the merger seems to me successful ;-) hello Simon, a greeting:-P:-P:-P
