Amo l'inverno con il suo freddo e le sue nevicate, ma devo ammettere che la stagione più bella per lo sci alpinismo è la primavera: le gite si allungano, diventano maggiormente impegnative e le montagne più alte tornano accessibili. E se in pianura gli alberi stanno già fiorendo, nelle valli la neve incomincia a lasciare spazio ai bucaneve e al ritorno dell'erbetta verde. Ma più si sale in alto e più tutto ha ancora sapore d'inverno. È proprio questo il bello: il veloce passaggio temporale tra primavera ed inverno, tra la natura che si risveglia e quella che invece riposa ancora infreddolita sotto uno spesso manto nevoso. La primavera è il periodo dei grandi Raid con gli sci: Gran Paradiso, Chamonix-Zermatt, Monviso, Oberland.. difficile dimenticare. Ed anche una banele camminata ad un rifugio riporta indietro nel tempo, a quando ancora andavo in montagna, a quando ancora girolavo per montagne. "Camminare per me significa entrare nella natura. Ed è per questo che cammino lentamente, non corro quasi mai. La Natura per me non è un campo da ginnastica. Io vado per vedere, per sentire, con tutti i miei sensi.
