Capers! sent on April 07, 2014 (14:41) by Michela Checchetto. 52 comments, 2969 views.

Grazie! :-)

I agree, in fine specimen, too bad the light too direct, in these cases can be remedied by trying to filter it with a blank sheet of paper or a handkerchief . congratulations greeting Roberto

I thank each of you for taking your time and your comments on this picture! :-P
Thanks go to:

@ Jypka:-D
@ Clara
Looks like a firework.
Very nice comparison! :-P
@ Joseph ... thanks Teacher:-P for appreciating this photo even though it has nothing to do with your beautiful portrait of this flower ;-) Actually my sample was small and not really "lush" and, as rightly say, of course it is
a hothouse plant is not well developed
. :-( I have seen that there are a couple of buds ... maybe I can grasp your suggestion and photograph the flowers at dawn. On the light back later in response to Catherine and Roberto ;-)
@ Andrea
Thanks for the walk really ....one transmitter that reading your explanations and details .... do wanna get my camera and try .... then I realize I'm still in the office and give up ....
Thank you very much for this wonderful comment! My photos ... then you have to look at the weekend ;-):-D
@ Luigi
Tirelessly passionate and looking for new emotions that you know give to us with your beautiful shots.
Luigi can not find adequate words to thank you for the comments that you spend forever with my shots!
Not only that, you're such a comprehensive treccani.
.... some of my friends (kidding) calls me Michypedia:-D Seriously, I'm glad you appreciate even my captions:-P
@ Mark .... I envy you for having had the opportunity to see many examples of this plant in the wild! [QUOTEF> @ Fabiana
.... I love the macro, but unfortunately the goal costicchia!
Evaluates the purchase of my Tamron: very good quality / price ratio! ;-)
Michela I like your shooting a flower that lights up the night
:-P
@ @ Catherine and Roberto
Beautiful flower, good composition and interesting light although a bit 'strong, congratulations.
... I answer together since you share the same considerations ;-) I fully understand your concerns about the light that is in the central area, on the edge of overexposure. As I said in response to a few comments ago, actually, during shooting I tried to use a soft box "housewife" (baking paper:-D) as you suggest but Roberto using the normal type of torches light the same as it was too hot penalized and was not sufficient for this subject. In these cases, I realize the limitations of the equipment that I adopt for still life .... to be improved in the future by purchasing some dedicated light. In any case, in the end, the shot I was disappointed and so here it is ;-) Thanks for the correct observations that help me improve! :-P
@ Sergio Sergio ... thanks to you and about the light .... see above ;-)

Thanks again to everyone and good afternoon!
Michela

bought a pack of Pringles potato chips, have within the foil, insert the torch and find the perfect distance so as not to burn the flower. simple hello :-) ;-) Roberto

You're right, Michael, this is a difficult flower to photograph but you ... eheheheh! Who stops you?! :-D
It affects a lot to the play of light / shadow and for the pleasant color contrasts!
Bravissimaaaa! :-)

I like the direction of the light in a particular way, I like the composition though I removed the leaf in the background on the left and I turned down one stop shutter speed to avoid burning the edges of the white flower. Beautiful photos, hello
