Beautiful pdr, I really like the close-up of snow and trees so full; atmosphere for the other, but I still prefer the landscape and the view of this I consider the best.
Difficult choice to open, I do not seem to clear the mountains but I understand that you had to make a compromise in order to focus on the first floor and did not do the star trails, and having considered the noise in the sky also raising the ISO would not have improved, perhaps , the situation.
You did well to put the lights visible in the country, I think that moving to the left or right in the middle of the fir would cover part of the country, a sign that you have "thought" (not all, at least not by me:-D: -D it).
Excuse my slowness, but generally I like your photo because it shows that you love these places and I like to describe a little more what I think in a comment.

hello Massimo

Thank you very much Dino - I'm really happy your comment
EOS1: too kind

Maximum: as well expatiated that makes me happy. The sky can be corrected of course, I have other versions where it is best developed
In the mountains you are right they are not razor sharp, but honestly I do not know how do you get everything in focus under the diaphragm 11. The next time I propose to do two clicks to F11 one long and one short for the view to the sky (20 "is the highest with 17 points northward especially if you do not). Maybe shooting at F4 so I go further with the ISO

In any case, it is just a matter of being able to be in the process of shooting that PP seen that there are a lot night photos taken at F4 ISO 1600 or more that are razor sharp and noiseless.

For the PDR is also why I tried it, I found myself in a situation different from what I expected when I left home about 1 hour before the valley was in the fog, then came the wind is clean and almost everything except a little 'at the bottom of agordo

hello

Very beautiful landscape composition and atmosphere, the tracks in my opinion are a detail of all relative, the sky instead is quite ugly, I suggest in these cases to dedicate an exhibition to part with higher ISO and aperture open.
Congratulations, hello.

Hello Gianmarco,
I think a photo should first convey emotions .. and it makes your making me a partaker of beautiful quiet atmosphere that you are getting that evening ;-)
For the accommodation of the sky I know less than you so I can not give advice:-D I can tell you that I really like this photo of the division into three distinct bands that make it more "readable" image! ;-)
Hello and congratulations!

Gianmarco now I read your last response, I see that you said you were alone in the sky ;-):-D:-D to have everything in focus using the focus stacking, shooting to that suggested to us a star for them to fire ;-)

Beautiful shot, evocative and compelling.
In terms of composition, perhaps a little disturbing that element on the left edge of the shape of the snow in the foreground and the signs of movement in the snow to the right.
This is a shot worthy of a true photographer who faces a path to go to the right place for the photo.
Compliments.

Beppe thanks for the comment (let's say you are an apprentice, it is more honest:-D): more to the left there is a whole tree that I took off because I did not like, I left what I thought was the lesser evil because I did not want to cut the top of the mountain. Covering it was all taken a bit 'more to the left, slightly shifting the pdr to the right and turning to some degree

Thank you very much Dino

Very full of emotion, a framework that could be enclosed in the thought of John Ruskin: "Mountains are the great cathedrals of the earth, with their portals of rock, the mosaics of clouds, the choirs of the torrents, and the altars of snow, Sometimes purple sparkling stars. " Even if you do not see the streams I do not find it hard to hear, so much "magic" environment.
Very nice.
