Per lo sfondo nero, cerco un soggetto fortemente illuminato e un'ombra dietro di esso (con il 200mm non è difficile trovarla); esponendo Spot sulla luce più alta lo sfondo in ombra va in sottoesposizione diventando nero, o quasi, e può essere scurito ulteriormente in editing con facilità.
Per lo sfondo bianco la tecnica è opposta: sfondo molto luminoso e soggetto in ombra (i casi più comuni sono una fotografia contro il cielo e qualunque altro forte controluce); esponendo Spot sul tono di luce più scuro il soggetto diventa ben illuminato e lo sfondo cade in sovraesposizione diventando bianco o quasi.
Sono semplici da realizzare nello scatto e, se necessario, da perfezionare in PP.
