Hello Simon, so sorry for the delay:-D:-D but not one can always sit on a chair ... :-|
I have read everything that has been written. In my personal opinion the best representation of the place as you wanted to do is appear first posted. Then came a "gentleman":-D that you have trimmed a kick in the private parts linking to a photo very nice and well made but that is another thing ... Visually, without knowing what you wanted or did not want to portray and convey your third is definitely the one that hits (or hit) more. But the drama does not transmit a sense of time. The second, perhaps, the beautiful but I would consider it .... anonymous with respect to the context.
hello

Here I come to speak my mind:-D

How many more I am inclined to the third, with the second version of the beautiful but a little '"tasteless" saw the place and the first ... to trash:-P!

To me that's missing is an element that links to click something, anything that has to do with the toys of the title: the concept of decay, abandonment, the passage of inclement weather is clear, but the fact that there is a link to the fun (at least, not obvious to me) leaves me a bit 'puzzled. I googled pictures of the place and I saw that the real structure "sails" is red, I would try to make this more evident especially in the third version with a more aggressive selective saturation.

As further Spuntor inspiration, I suggest you search Google images the TV series "Carnivale," which has as its background the setting for a decadent traveling circus in which cheaters and real "magicians" put on shows of dubious morality ... and do not say anything else. The photo series is particularly used and the colors match perfectly with the world of "fun" proposed ... maybe you can find inspiration for a new processing:-D (note that, the colors generally used in the series desaturated red is often used as a contrast color ;-))

Larry Thank you for your interest, I thought that now the solutions were over, but now you come along with the history of the red and shuffle the cards on the table, but you could not andarti to make a nice game of chess? :-D:-D:-D
(By the way I wanted to say about my own pictures but I was in doubt if it could be interesting so I gave up: fconfuso:

went to see the photos that you suggested, but honestly is a type of processing that does not suit me and that I would not know which way to cominciare.Prendi my first version, which is also for you to trash, just like my simple fun, also does not fall absolutely in my photographic style, even if I wanted to try to make it as minimal as possible a situation already minimal in itself, but as I understand it are the people who do notlove it.

The thing that makes me think about my first version, reading the various comments is that you either like or even want to throw away, a middle (I do not like very much) I have not yet sentita.Della series or love or despise:-D

maybe you can find inspiration for a new processing

soon I remove the tag, Photoshop kindly asked me not to open more this file, do not talk about it:-D:-D:-D

hello and thanks for your contribution

Imagine, you always fuck with friends:-D

My "is to trash" is simply due to the fact that as you have already pointed out there are some elements that should be valued more (street lamps) and that in general gives me even less by the atmosphere of days gone Toyland ... on the contrary, the color change tells me more cold feeling abandoned place in the winter of desolation. If you wanted to convey the desolation and decay pp is successful, but as mentioned binds much less to the title and place.
Also, if I add an account, the grain on the sky is excessive to the point of disturbing the enjoyment of the picture (according to me, but know that the account is one that the grain generally appreciate)

I will understandBut if you want to listen to Photoshop and do not put more hands in this shot:-D

As usual I'm going against the throwaway, the I like and do not like.
I believe that regardless of the aesthetic this is a document rather than a photo. An attempt to bring attention to a social issue I consider itself a good job.
I do not think it matters which of the three images hit me more, what matters is that I encourage a certain type of reflection.
Hello and the next.
PS streetlights seem withered flowers in all three images. This struck me most of Toyland.

Nick thanks for your contribution, different from all the others .... that strength is photo ;-)

the streetlights seem withered flowers in all three images. This struck me more than Toyland

and then I hit the mark with you because they often are the real subject of the photo.
Thank you very much, I've pulled up a little morale doo many slating:-D:-D:-D

Nn too many comments I read them all, I write what has caused me, but I'm glad I saw the other 2versioni, but you have posted this and this comment!
This is a desaturated bw perhaps too much, in a bit more black on the contours spoiled nn, nn what I like those lamps that are components of the IMM swoop without being able to see what they are attached, for the rest is ok, I are one material I need to see.
The abandonment is here! Silence is a feeling difficult to express in photography, I can not help you.

A hug,
Maurizio
