Uno dei famosi gufi di palude, anzi direi il più confidente che si riconosceva anche per il piumaggio più chiaro degli altri. Aveva preso l' abitudine di stazionare vicino ai fotografi ed osservando bene quello che succedeva si poteva intuire anche il perché. Uno dei problemi per i gufi erano i gheppi che tentavano continuamente di sottrargli le prede e quasi sempre ci riuscivano: questo gufo aveva imparato a sfruttare i fotografi !! Aveva capito che i gheppi non si avvicinavano agli uomini e così le sue catture, non lontano dalle auto andavano quasi sempre a buon fine anche perché, invece di volare via con il topino tra le zampe, il più delle volte lo consumava direttamente sul terreno......
