La desmontegada è il termine trentino della transumanza, il rientro degli animali dal periodo di alpeggio estivo. Quasi sempre si conclude con una grande festa popolare. Canale di Tenno è un antico borgo medievale giunto quasi intatto sino ai giorni nostri. E' un paese della zona del lago di Garda trentino. Le sue case in pietra, i ballatoi affacciati su viuzze silenziose, le volte a botte e i gerani che colorano finestre e poggioli hanno attratto sin dal secondo dopoguerra artisti da tutta Europa, ispirati dai suoi scorci e dal paesaggio circostante che consente di avere una meravigliosa visuale sul lago di Garda. Oggi il paese è uno dei Borghi più belli d'Italia, grazie anche alle numerose manifestazioni che ne valorizzano la bellezza, l'arte e i prodotti enogastronomici. Se nei mesi freddi i mercatini di Natale scaldano il cuore dei visitatori, in estate le strade del borgo si infiammano con le rievocazioni storiche di “Rustico Medioevo”. C'è sempre un buon motivo per visitare Canale di Tenno!
