Il Donga è il combattimento tradizionale con i bastoni tipico di diverse tribù dell' area che al confine tra l' Etiopia ed il Sudan. Le ragioni di questi combattimenti sono molteplici e, quello a cui abbiamo assistito noi, era per dirimere una disputa tra due villaggi Surma. Pur essendoci delle regole ben precise ed una sorta di arbitri, spesso ci sono momenti di grande tensione e qualche scontro particolarmente violento tanto che è successo che cifossero anche conseguenza molto gravi. Questo " guerriero " non mostrava dolore per le ferite, cosa assolutaente riprovevole per la tradizione Surma, ma grandissimo rammarico e disappunto per essere stato fermato in seguito alle ferite riportate. Per prima cosa, per cercare di fermare il sangue hanno buttatato sulle ferite una manciata di sabbia e sassi raccolta dal terreno..... Quando ho intuito cosa stava succedendo mi ci sono letteralmente buttato in mezzo per cercare di carpire qualche immagine diversa dal solito. Surma tribe Ethiopia Fino a pochi giorni fa avevo già deciso l' itinerario del mio viaggio in Etiopia e stavo per pubblicarlo sul sito ma poi colto una folgorazione ! Ed ora sto cercando di organizzare qualcosa di diverso per vedere altre tribù molto meno conosciute che per altro, anche loro fanno il Donga !!
