Among your photographic works. all beautiful, I chose this one to tell you that I find this photo a great masterpiece for beauty and atmosphere.
I fully share your thoughts on abandonment, you have lost an important historical heritage and I also think of the vitality that at that time triumphed in those rice paddies full of songs, dialects and sweat, romantic scenes lost forever.
However, finding the other
the medal, we must consider the quality of life of those workers, always with hands and feet in the water, in the midst of mosquitoes.
In this respect, the abandonment of this type of life is certainly not to be regretted.
Cari greetings, compliments always, good and beautiful light :-P
Ciao

Beautiful shot, fantastic light. Lately I've been having fun taking pictures of these ruins too, unfortunately, as you say are destined for complete destruction. on the other hand, doing the maintenance of these "dwellings" is prohibitive and the owners will also pay us over taxes ..... A real shame

Since they are farmers, taxes may not, but there is no doubt that maintenance costs are often prohibitive.
Thane of the comment, Rosamaria, bye.

Well composed and well taken image, documenting an architecture of past times that tells us an important piece of our history.
Interesting the accompanying caption.
A greeting

Dear Pinitti,
ma the sequence together with the photo next to "The budding of crodo rice" you have put it specially side by side that perfectly match in a panorama view ?
What a brilliant idea,
Massimo.

Yes, I tried, but they do not match perfectly, but they make the idea well, hello and thank you Max.

It may be that with glasses or without my 51 just cut, they do not have in the visual focal the point of maximum strength, but to me they appear paired in a magical synchrony.
I repeat, a genius...
Massimo.
