at 48mm, 1/160 f/9.0, ISO 1000, tripod. Specie: Canis lupus

Beautiful documentary!!
I'd have curiosity questions.
1) based on what can you identify the male from the female? You've seen them before if I understand, right?
2) what kind of phototrappola.do you use? Is it one of the models that also sends notifications to the mobile phone almost instantaneously to the shot ?
Ma to fight the disinformation campaign I wonder , could you write articles of correct information about it ?
From what I understand you know the place well and you are known so maybe your word would have a weight ? (But this also applies in general.)
Thank you so much for the curiosities
Buon work
Max
PS
I'm just questions of pure curiosity. :)

But my mother! but what low-level journalism! but how many books that editor has read there in the last five years! Ignorance is a virus from which it is even more difficult to get rid of because those who are affected often, unfortunately, "feel good"! A disgrace.

Damn it! now I found out! Arvier was the birthplace of Cappucetto Rosso: and let them decide to erect a statue ten meters high to put on the main square! And then let him set up at least one day a month to commemorate that time the wolf ate it! Ah, finally, a fund is set up to guarantee scholarships to all young aspiring wolf hunters and gutters!

Great!!! ... well the wolf gets a little bit of fear, although as long as he has food I don't think he attacks man!!! .... and neither does the woman. . . . . (a bit of irony let me...) :-)

Thank you for the comment Franca!! :-D ;-)
In fact, the wolf should not arouse any fear in man, a little because a face-to-face meeting is really rare, they generally hear us and sniff hundreds of meters and have all the time to get away (in fact most sightings take place on board a car) a little because there have been no attacks on humans in Europe for 200 years.
For example, then we should fear much more our pets, dogs in particular, every year in Italy cause as many as 70 THOUSAND aggressions. So you understand that fear of the wolf is a problem that does not exist from this point of view.
