L'Alfa Romeo 1900 fu costruita in Milano dal 1950 al 1959 nelle Versioni Berlina a 4 porte, Coupé, Cabriolet, Fuoristrata (Matta) e pure in alcune Edizioni Speciali. Le versioni Coupé e Cabriolet furono allestite dalle Carrozzerie Touring di Milano e Pininfarina di Torino. Questa visibile nella fotografia è una Versione Coupé realizzata dalla Carrozzeria Touring e venne costruita nel triennio 1951-53. Dotata di un motore avente 4 cilindri in linea che sviluppava 100 cavalli di potenza poteva raggiungere la velocità massima di 180 chilometri orari. Fra Versioni Coupé e Cabriolet la Carrozzeria Touring realizzò 650 esemplari della 1900 Sprint.
