E' un'immagine eseguita sotto il sole rovente delle ore 14:00 durante una lunga escursione. Stavamo scendendo da una bellissima cima quando arrivati nella zona dei pascoli una farfalla apollo in volo ci sorpassò. Ci buttammo in un estenuante inseguimento, stavamo quasi per demordere quando vedemmo l'apollo fermo su di una margherita. In un battibaleno si accoppiò con una femmina che era lì pronta per tale azione, siamo rimasti stupiti di come il maschio abbia trovato la femmina su una distesa di centinaia di ettari di pascolo alpino. Questa farfalla per i suoi colori e l'ambiente montano dove vive riempie di gioia chi ha la possibilità di vederla volare. Dedichiamo questo scatto all'amico juzzino Roberto Carrano che anche lui come noi si emoziona quando fotografa gli apolli. Un caloroso abbraccio a tutti voi grandi juzzini, ciao, alla prossima!!!
