Feather Stories 2 (Male Rigogolo) sent on July 20, 2020 (18:57) by Supercecc56. 107 comments, 2069 views.

con Nikon TC-17E II, 1/500 f/5.6, ISO 400, tripod. Specie: Oriolus oriolus

I'm not a specialist, I don't know this bird, and maybe here on Juza you don't see many shots dedicated to him.
At first sight the image had puzzled me, the little light, the little chromatic contrast confuse it with the foliage.
Tho I read the caption and everything I observed is confirmed by you with the explanation of the difficulties encountered to get this shot which at this point takes on another value also in view of the commitment and patience had.
Compliments Claudio
A great greeting

I've never seen the rigor but it's really gorgeous. I was involved in the attached story. One can sense the true passion that resides in those like us who love and respect nature in all its manifestations. Great shot and immense satisfaction. Super congratulations Claudio.
Bye gios ;-)

Being able to photograph the rigor is always a titanic undertaking and you have done it well and on top of that, given its super mistrust and skill in hiding in the leaves
I often hear him sing, but for my part, I failed miserably,.
In the summer heat, closing in on a shed takes courage, and I honestly gave up.
I'm going to try again next spring

Well, after the super comments of those who preceded me it's hard to add more ... if you do not point out how passion and competence combined with perseverance lead to these fabulous results!!
Searly live-in arrangements!

Really beautiful this image of the rigor, captured among the branches of a tree. I also really like this elusive bird and I congratulate you for this beautiful photograph and for the work that preceded it. Say hello. Aurora

Personally Claudio I thank you for posting it and for giving me the opportunity to know this specimen unknown to me, reading what you had to do to immortalize the prey you have all my esteem, three days of stakeouts for your great passion repaid by this wonderful image and after your adventure you will be aware of it too ;-)
A Loris greeting :-)
