I'm sure there's a lot of work behind this photo both in the shooting phase and in the post-production phase, but maybe it's a little too much ... Let me explain better:
Houses and the sky don't seem to be part of the same landscape; they look like a copy and paste and this takes away naturalness from the scene ... I don't know if I could explain myself.
Every detail is very beautiful and well realized if taken alone ... put it all together it smells of artifact, of not natural.
You said you were in the process of experimenting so it seemed necessary to tell you my impression; you see that there is potential and also a lot, but you have to know how to dose the forces; it said that advertisement: power is nothing without control.
Continue to try, maybe rework, experiment; you see that you have passion ... ;-)

Fa-vo-lo-knows!!! Congratulations on the excellent work both in the field and in the post, every aspect has been taken care of to the fullest, chapeau!!!
To answer your question about sharpness; from my point of view and viewing the image from the PC monitor, the result is truly extraordinary (I'm obviously referring to the HD version).
Hello, Stephen ;-)

Really very very beautiful! Appropriate i'd say sharpness (I watch it from HP 24" monitors); only thing, given the extreme cleanliness on the sea, on the houses and on the rocks themselves, "stupid" (to want to be very pointy, because in reality the effect is obviously pleasant) the noise in the sky. probably with a couple of dark frames you could solve everything, but I don't know if they would create problems with the overlap of the various levels.
In any case so many compliments!

It's one of the most beautiful photos I've seen, spectacular and gritty. Congratulations for the great taste and knowledge of the technique.
I'm watching it from the tel (the monotor has been resting for a week due to the logistical reorganization of the room)
I take this opportunity to thank you for what you taught me.
