RESTAURO DELL'OROLOGIO DELLA TORRE DELL'ABBAZIA DI CHIARAVALLE COSTRUITO DAI FRATELLI CAPPE' IN CASORATE MILANO NEL 1862 L'orologio, rimosso dalla torre campanaria perché risultava sempre più gravoso e pericoloso per i monaci salire tutti i giorni per ricaricarlo, è stato stato completamente smontato, pulito e lubrificato, riparato e rimontato. L'orologio ha una struttura a gabbia in ferro forgiato, avvitato con dadi quadri; dispone di due treni di ruote affiancati per tempo e suoneria, pignoni a gabbia, ruote in bronzo, tamburi in legno, scappamenti a caviglie smontabili, suoneria delle ore in dodici con botta e ribotta, ripetute alla mezz'ora con una campana di tonalità diversa. Il sistema di suoneria a chiocciola presenta una slitta dentata che, svincolata, scivola per gravità e va a poggiare sulla tacca predestinata della chiocciola. L'orologio è perfettamente funzionante. Il restauro è stato eseguito dalla ditta “Antichi Orologi Milano” di Giorgio Gregato, su iniziativa dell'Associazione Amici dell'Abbazia di Chiaravalle. Ho postato questa foto perché personalmente mi è parsa abbastanza interessante. Commenti e critiche sempre molto gradite. Grazie.
