Come un viandante che lentamente svanisce in una notte di nebbia, il 2018 oggi finisce. Abbiamo cercato da appassionati di fotografia la sua luce nelle varie stagioni, abbiamo cercato nuove speranze e nuove strade nel vento di Primavera come nel gelo dell'Inverno. Molti di noi ora sono in viaggio per portarci quello che pensano sia da far vedere. Non tutto quello che c'è, ma quello che li ha colpiti in un modo particolare. Alcuni fotografi in un qualche gradino di una qualche notorietà, ripetono che la fotografia ormai non è più la stessa, che con il digitale milioni di apparecchiature fotografiche sono in mano a degli incompetenti che fotografano qualunque cosa. Anche le penne e gli inchiostri ormai non si vendono più solo agli scrittori. Ciascuno svolge la sua strada. Io non credo nei progetti, non ci credo proprio. Io credo a una sola fotografia, a quella che mi lascia un brivido d'emozione.
