Great shot Ale, great job, congratulations! :-)

@ Kuro: Thanks for the compliments :-) talking about night sky is all about capturing the right amount of light, and either using the tracker or with bright optics the result arrives ;-)
@Cosmo: Thank you, always very kind! Happy year!!

Very nice, congratulations! By amateur astronomer I like them much more this kind of photos with portions of landscape that photo long focal
Having never made fusions I wanted to ask you how you proceeded, as I have in mind long time a picture like that without pursuer (do not know whether to buy it) I Comes too dark in the sky (I have to stay under 20 "pose to avoid the blur), especially having a tree in the middle of the picture that someday I would do, I would understand how you can blend the two images at that point where there are a lot of branches

Thanks Nordavind for the technical appreciation! :-)
for the tree do you want me to reveal the secrets?? :-D You have observed well, the branches of the tree and the chase do not get along, I tried to solve with different strategies and I came to the conclusion that the portion of tree with the branches should be resumed with short time and without Chase, then join the rest of Sky trying to fade in a non-invasive way and voila ;-)
Greetings!

Thank you very much:D actually I had thought of such a thing, I think where there are trees is quite a problem merging images (which I do not like and so I have not even ever done, but by something amateur astronomer someday maybe I'll try to do, especially Considering that without superbright lenses or cameras that you can push at very high ISO is impossible to get good results)

Hi Ale,
really compliments for this photo that contains an incredible amount of objects of astronomical interest! And in addition the composition with the terrestrial part is breathtaking! I would sincerely put the most beautiful astrophotos I've ever seen!
Some comments:
-I never realised that the California Nebula was so big!
-There are some meteors that do not seem to come from the radiant... I wonder the physical reason...
-Regarding the question of how to merge the branches of the tree with the sky, there is an interesting discussion on the Facebook group of the Minitrack tracker, which I would like to point out: www.facebook.com/groups/445728915521396/permalink/ 2044339285660343/
Hello, Daniele

Thanks a lot, Daniele, for your comment full of cues, for the time dedicated to examine the image and for the warm appreciation! Going with order:
Some astronomical objects of the deep sky are really extended, only are less luminous, for example, of the moon that already seems to us extended. But the Andromeda galaxy, for example, occupies a portion of much greater sky, I compared two images to the same focal, try to believe!!
Exactly, some meteors are alien to the swarm of Geminids, consider that on three hours of catches it is possible to photograph even other cars, although less frequent
thanks to the indication for interesting discussion on melting sky-branches Tree!
Greetings :-)

Thank you Raffaele :-) I confirm that the Pana 12 is absolutely a premium lens. Moreover, right on the stars, among the wide-angles I tried is the one that guarantees the best quality from corner to corner, already in TA, is a real gem!

Hello Ale, among the 12mm in circulation I'm going to buy just the goal of the panasonic

The choice between the 12 falls between the following:
_Samyang 12 2.0, great value, a little more cumbersome because native APS-C adapted
_Zuiko 12 2.0, another great goal, very compact and equipped with autofocus
_Pana 12 12 1.4, for me top goal, as a top goal, as Written perfect stars from corner to corner and then snap to f1.4 is a great advantage. And it is also quite compact, not like the Zuiko but as a clutter if it plays with Samyang, but being much better performing. I was very satisfied, maybe it is not the goal for every day as for example the 12-40, but if you like the night you will have fun :-)

I think even Ghirri would have stopped to look at her with a certain admiration.

thank you Songs of Chaos :-) even uncomfortable master Ghirri? But it seems to me that he went more on the minimal-visionary ;-) Greetings and thank you for the passage!
