Thanks very much for your suggestion, Salvo - the opinions of others are always important to me! I can't really remember how much wind there was (I go there often) but the leaves suggest that it was quite windy. I do remember that it was a conscious choice to go for a very shallow depth of field on this occasion, focusing only on the nearest leaves.
