Another spectacular image as much as that of mushrooms.
In this case, however, I also perfectly agree with the choice to use the lens at TA since, unlike the family of mushrooms, in this photograph the leaves in the foreground are all, or almost, perfectly in focus.
Useless to say, however, that apart from the framing and composition, both excellent, the real strength of this splendid realization is in the choice of the backlight... very well managed I have to add.
Compliments.
Hello, Paul.

Thanks to the passage Paul, this is an image to which I am very attached. First from an emotional point of view, I personally printed the image on a good Eson glossy paper in A2 format and gave the image to my partner. For the moment it is hanging in the wall of his room, in the future we would take her into our house.
Secondly I dreamed of this shot for two years, unfortunately I did not have much luck... on the third attempt I managed to make the image I wanted 8-)
A greeting,
David

A2 should be 40x60... if I'm not mistaken.
Beh David, given the remarkable cleanliness of the image, I am convinced that this photograph can be printed even much larger ;-)
Good evening,
Paolo.

Absolutely, I could print it in even larger formats, unfortunately my Epson P800 stops at the A2 format. It's usually more than enough, although this is one of the few cases where I'd push myself to a larger print, also because it would enhance the sense of three-dimensionality of selective focus.
Sya will be my impression, but on small-format prints (

In fact, it is so David, certain nuances are appreciated better as the format of the print increases.
Bugle.
