Alcuni amici juzini nella foto precedente "Pericolosa bellezza" mi avevano fatto notare che nella composizione mancava solo la presenza di elfi, fate, Biancaneve e i Sette Nani...gnomi. Allora stimolato da questa osservazione mi son posto questa domanda: - E se fosse vero? Perchè non ritornare sul posto e verificare? - E così una mattina, dopo il terzo infruttuoso appostamento nel bosco incantato, un movimento appena percettibile tra i tronchi degli antichi abeti attira la mia attenzione, e cosa vedo? Due giovani gnomi, buffi e colorati, avanzavano con circospezione. La visione però è durata solo un battito di ciglia, mi è rimasto solo il tempo di eseguire questo scatto a testimonianza della loro esistenza. I due piccoli protagonisti si sono accorti all'istante della mia presenza; disturbavo la loro magica quiete, e con cipiglio si sono allontanati d'incanto.
