In prossimità del Raduno di Roma di ottobre, il pensiero corre con nostalgia a Bologna, incontro insieme a quello di Firenze, bellissimi e, certamente, con mio personale rincrescimento, con molta più affluenza di quello della Capitale. Non me lo spiego, anche perché l'evento era stato postato con molto anticipo. E, ricordando appunto, Bologna, vi propongo questo click, fatto al grande Garibaldi, il famoso "eroe dei due mondi". Come recita Wikipedia, il monumento si trova a circa metà di via dell'Indipendenza, di fronte all'Arena del Sole. Inaugurata l'8 luglio del 1900, è una statua di bronzo opera dello scultore Arnaldo Zocchi. La statua venne collocata nel piedistallo ove, in precedenza, era posta la statua di Ugo Bassi, trasferita poi di fronte alla caserma di San Gervasio. All'inaugurazione parteciparono numerosi rappresentanti della classe operaia e seguì un intervento del deputato socialista Andrea Costa. Commenti e critiche sempre molto gradite. Grazie.
