Questa ragazza si chiama Nicol, ed è innamorata di Venezia, dei suoi palazzi, delle sue calli e della sua storia. Confesso che la sottoscritta ha un po' contribuito a farle conoscere la storia della Serenissima, dai suoi Dogi, al suo predominio, fino alle sue lotte, vittorie e sconfitte sotto la dominazione austriaca. Ha imparato a conoscere "I Sepolcri" e i "Sonetti" del Foscolo, spesso, passeggiando insieme fra i vicoli veneziani. Eccola all'ultimo carnevale, lei è bella, la foto non le rende giustizia e chiedo scusa. Commenti e critiche sempre gradite. Grazie.
