Il porto di Barcellona si trova in pieno centro città, a pochi metri dalle Ramblas. Si tratta di una zona perfettamente integrata nella vita turistica della città; nonostante la sua origine commerciale, si è nel corso degli anni evoluta e modernizzata, soprattutto in seguito alla celebrazione delle Olimpiadi nel 1992. Gli antichi edifici industriali sono stati rimpiazzati da moderni centri commerciali e strutture per l'intrattenimento; i pescherecci e le navi da carico sono spariti dalle sue banchine, sostituiti da barche da diporto e da crociera; i turisti e gli sportivi hanno sostituito operai e marinai. Il Port Vell ("porto vecchio") è oggi una delle zone più frequentate dai turisti che arrivano a Barcellona. Pieno di cose da fare e da vedere, è diventato una vera e propria area per il tempo libero in riva al mare. Commenti e consigli sempre graditi. Grazie.
