A San Pietroburgo durante il periodo in cui la Neva è navigabile, grossomodo da aprile a novembre, i numerosi ponti che la attraversano si aprono per permettere il passaggio delle navi, soprattutto merci ma anche passeggeri, che ne solcano le acque. Dal Golfo di Finlandia le rotte possibili sono varie e sorprendenti: raggiungendo il lago Ladoga, attraverso un complesso sistema di canali, laghi e fiumi, la navigazione prosegue verso Mosca, il mar Bianco, il Mar Nero od addirittura il Mar Caspio! Il passaggio delle navi e l'apertura dei ponti, che avviene sempre di notte fra l'1 e le 5, con un pausa intermedia per non bloccare completamente la circolazione stradale, costituiscono uno spettacolo imperdibile sia per i pietroburghesi sia per i turisti, che normalmente si affollano nei pressi del Ponte del Palazzo, nelle immediate vicinanze del Palazzo d'Inverno, concludendo così la passeggiata serale sulla Prospettiva Nevskij. Questa foto l'avevo postata a colori, poi un amico di Juza, mi ha consigliato la versione in bianco e nero: Eccola. Commenti e consigli sempre graditi. Grazie.
