Sono giunto casualmente ad osservare questa proposta di Stefano.
La premessa è doverosa e semplicissima : non ho di certo le competenze né il bagaglio culturale di un critico fotografico o cinematografico.
Mi sento comunque di voler intervenire, spero non goffamente, per lasciare qualche considerazione alla luce di quanto ho letto.
L'unica colorazione selettiva convincente l'ho vista in ambito cinematografico nel film "Schindler's List" di Spielberg, girato per la maggiorparte in un magnifico bianconero. Oscar meritato per me al direttore della fotografia, splendida poi la poetica della "storia nella storia" del famoso "cappottino rosso".
Questa "pellicola cinematografica" è una sequenza di splendide fotografie in BW, come già detto, e l'artificio del regista è splendidamente funzionale alla triste storia che ci ha voluto rappresentare.
La singola fotografia di un fotografo è altro. Può essere dinamica nella sua staticità ma è sempre altro. Rarissimamente, se non mai, tali tecniche sono funzionali allo scopo nell'immagine statica; Non aggiungono alcun valore e significato , rischiano di appesantire e rendere davvero "lezioso" lo scatto.
In questo concordo con altri pareri che qui ho letto.
Trovo il parere di Franco, che stimo molto come fotografo e "commentatore", troppo rude in questa circostanza. Le critiche alla fotografia, che in parte condivido, passano in secondo piano quando vengono giudicate le intenzioni dell'autore ( voler accontentare il gusto mainstream potrebbe benissimo non essere stata sua intenzione....e se lo fosse stata sono scelte non sindacabili in questo contesto forumistico).
Considero Franco, come altri, un'istituzione nello Juza forum....sono sicuro che saprà levigare le sue asperità :-)))
Venendo allo scatto, lo trovo sicuramente "interessante", anche se appesantito da alcune imperfezioni.
Il taglio dell'oblò in alto ne limita per me la perfezione formale-architettonica, così come la presenza di distorsione e la forma dell'ombra così schiacciata e "deforme".
Resta uno scatto assolutamente godibile, con qualche pecca però.

Caro Gianluca ti ringrazio per la tua attenta e interressante disamina. Anche il solo averti ricordato il capolavoro di Spielberg, "Schindler's List", in qualche modo credo la foto ti abbia colpito , e questo non può farmi che piacere.
