Okay, per iniziare la settimana salto dalle fantastiche montagne della Norvegia alle più “intime” foreste finlandesi della Lapponia. A mente fredda, a quasi un mese dalla fine del viaggio, posso dire senza alcun dubbio che ho preferito di gran lunga queste incredibili lande innevate alle coste norvegesi; sicuramente a livello fotografico sono mooolto più spettacolari quest'ultime, ma la Lapponia mi ha trasmesso quel “qualcosa” che la Norvegia non è riuscita a darmi, non so come spiegarvi. Per farvi un esempio, quella sera, dopo un'oretta scarsa di cammino, mi ritrovavo solo sulla “vetta” di questa collina, a -30 circa con il vento in faccia e felice come non mai; queste sculture di ghiaccio mi tenevano compagnia, insieme all'ultima luce del giorno che infuocava l'orizzonte. Dovessi scegliere un posto dove tornarne, sceglierei questo luogo senza nemmeno battere ciglio! Ovviamente è solo una questione di gusti, sia chiaro; la Norvegia rimane per me bellissima, ma la Finlandia mi ha dato più quel senso di inverno e “wilderness” che probabilmente stavo cercando e per questo mi è rimasta più nel cuore. Se notate un po' di rumore nello scatto, è perché ho dovuto far tutto a mano libera, i ganci dello zaino che tenevano il treppiede mi si erano congelati e non riuscivo a sbloccarli!
