Nipozzano, Firenze ... novembre 2017 ... Per tradizione popolare il termine Nipozzano, castellare e terre da sempre proprietà dei Frescobaldi, adagiate sui dolci colli che nel levante fiorentino fan corona alla confluenza in Arno delle acque mugellane della Sieve, indica un luogo "senza pozzo", ovvero povero di acqua: ed è proprio l'arida natura dei terreni calcarei ed argillosi, avari di sostanze nutritive, a rendere la zona una sorta di santuario per la viticoltura d'eccellenza. E buona fama le cantine del luogo godevan già anche in passato, se è vero che molti artisti e nomi celebrati della Firenze rinascimentale, in primis Donatello e Michelozzo, eran soliti ispirarsi col buon vino di Nipozzano ...
