Lo scorcio che vedete fa parte del Barrio Gotico, un vero Museo a cielo aperto. Il quartiere non rappresenta solo il centro storico della città, ma anche l'anima e il cuore della capitale catalana. Il barrio Gotico fu il punto nevralgico della vita politica e religiosa della Barcellona medievale. Nata sui resti dell'antico nucleo romano che sorgeva proprio in questa area. Il Gotico presenta ancora la struttura urbanistica classica dell'impero romano del cardo e del decumano. Camminando nel dedalo di viuzze che lo animano, come d'incanto vi ritroverete di fronte a maestose chiese gotiche e a mura romane del primo secolo a.c. Di sera, il Gotico si trasforma e diventa un luogo di festa febbrile con i suoi innumerevoli bar, ristoranti e venditori ambulanti di birra.
