This is Nsuku one of the 4 members of the Birmingham male coalition. He is scenting one of the females from the Styx pride who was parked nearby with some young cubs. The Birmingham's watch over 2 different prides and any of them will mate with any of the females when in estrous. This is good for both prides as it is not often that 2 different prides have the protection of 4 dominant males in their prime. Especially good for the longevity of cubs. Nsuku means Gold.
