30 Dicembre 2016, piazza del Duomo di Colonia, affollata di turisti, venuti a passare qui il Capodanno. Gironzolo con la mia reflex, in attesa che arrivi mia sorella con i nostri amici, che si sono attardati in un negozio di souvenir, sto guadagnando l'ingresso di un bar, per bere "una buona imitazione di caffé", quando vedo questo ragazzo, accovacciato che fatica a tener buoni dei bambini per una foto ricordo. Mi avvicino, e finalmente il gruppo di compone. Sono tutti cinesi, arrivati a Colonia per passare il Capodanno con dei parenti che non vedevano da dieci anni. Ottengo il permesso di fotografare anch'io: ed ecco il risultato. Tornata a Milano, è stata mia premura inviare la foto sia a colori che in bianco e nero, a Guilin (mi hanno detto una città turistica che dovrei assolutamente visitare), e ovvio che non mancherò di organizzarmi per visitare la Cina che non conosco.
