Ultimi scatti del viaggio allo Yellowstone. Ormai erano gli ultimi minuti della mattinata. Ci eravamo dedicati all'alce maschio. Nei giorni precedenti avevamo visto piccoli e madri, oltre ad un enorme maschio che però si era dileguato in fretta e furia purtroppo. Le condizioni erano ideali. Freddo, ed aveva nevicato tutta la notte. I colori autunnali erano ancora vividi e ben visibili. Passando sopra un ponte, vedo questo esemplare maschio che è fermo sull'argine del fiume. Scendiamo al volo e lui comincia ad attraversare. La prospettiva dall'alta non mi entusiasma ma non so se riesco a scendere in tempo. Ci provo. Corro come un pazzo col 600 in mano, attraverso altri due torrenti bagnandomi completamente ma arrivo in tempo per una decina di scatti.
