#Acqua Torre Abate, Parco del Delta del Po, qui siamo nel Comune di Mesola, frazione S. Giustina, provincia di Ferrara. Quest'architettura idraulica, interessante testimonianza della storia della Grande Bonificazione ferrarese intrapresa dalla signoria estense, fu costruita nella seconda metà del XVI secolo ed in seguito riedificata, sulla preesistente struttura estense, nella seconda metà del XVII secolo. Posta sul canale di bonifica in prossimità del suo sbocco a mare, la chiavica regolava il flusso ed il deflusso a mare delle acque interne attraverso un sistema di porte a vento, o "vinciane", che si richiudevano automaticamente nelle fasi di alta marea. Esaurita già all'inizio del 1600 la funzione di chiusa idraulica, sia per l'abbassamento del terreno sia per le modifiche apportate dai veneziani al sistema idraulico del delta del Po, l'edificio venne utilizzato come torre di guardia, inserito nella muraglia che proteggeva la tenuta di Mesola. Oggi Torre Abate è circondata da una riserva naturale in cui si trovano specchi d'acqua e vegetazione palustre.
