Incredible shooting ... I wonder how do you get this dim light or in the other shots like these "blade" of light ... falling right on the roost and the martin, the only thing I can think of a building Ad Hoc the roost in an environment that you know perfectly. Others do not know: -D

compliments! ;-)

Lucio, believe me ... the environment is 100% natural ;-)
I have not built a perch as a function of the shed. I built a hut near the main roost used by the couple of martinis (I observed them for days ...).
Last year broke a large branch sticking out of the water; since then, I keep some "roost" that sometimes replace, but that position it exactly the same place, not to change their habits.
As regards the light, I put in a condition in which, normally, no photographer.
They are on the edge of a dense forest, overlooking a small pond. It 'so small that it remains in the shade for most of the day and there is a clean background. The sun is filtered through the branches of the plants that are now behindthe shed; here is the reason for this light.
With the passage of time, the light will change all the time and the shots are often completely different even just within a few minutes ;-)
Obviously there are good days, and less good ...
Not always the martino arrives at the moment when the light is right. But it's better that way ... when they arrive, the satisfaction is even bigger ;-)

I figured, well, that is really a show the whole series ... different than usual, with some shots to be framed. I love this shot, "low light" with Martino in silhouette.
Again congratulations greetings ;-)

This photo shows what it means to be able to photograph! It conveys emotion and personality. Quite another thing compared to too many "ritrattoni" all the same, in which the yardstick is only the sharpness (which is not always about the photographer, but the optics). GOOD BOY!!!!!

Rufinus Bravo! ;-) There is a race to Martin clearer ... this is different from all the others, has something of "his" original ...
