at 100mm, 1/250 f/4.5, ISO 100, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.

Beautiful scene, too bad it lacks a bit of sharpness, still nice shooting.

Hello Franco,
thanks for the feedback.
To me, the sharpness is not bad and it does not seem to be a limit to this photo.
A little 'lost in the reduction and a bit' is not the 70/200 2.8 nor a fixed 2.8 as the 300 nor the 500 ....... the 100/400 when the light is hard or there is too little is not exactly a razor .....

Hello Roby,
is a impressone that initially I had too, but also going to double check the maf does not fall on the bush.
The freeze then, at least at this time, are no longer convinced that, when there are dynamic gestures, the best choice is to freeze the action perfectly and I prefer that it is the right dose moved ...

Maybe because I do not pay much case and frankly, a technically perfect photo, I prefer a 100 times that depicts a moment "exceptional" (such as things that are rarely seen ..) or I should say something.
On this trip I made dozens of photos in lionesses are perfect tenicamente but this I will take her with me over the years ....................

Memy,

good time! compliments to the eye ....... I think the lack of sharpness depends on the "means" more than 100-400 ;-)

Given the fact of Roby, it is not that you have to check the calibration.

Greetings from roman vulture:-D
