I am fortunate to know personally Angelo Gandolfi and having seen his photos relive the same emotions watching this shot. Regarding photos nests in my opinion if everything is done with criterion there are no problems. Let's be clear criterion to mean a myriad of foresight to use and it depends from species to species and from time to time. In this case, the martin chose the nest already prepared in a way a bit like if a bird nest deemed appropriate in our house ... well if he does it because he felt safe the whole. The neighborhood is not the man then makes it even better achieved and the final document is extraordinary. I do not know Sergio Luzzini (forgive me) but we understand that it is not a "bird of First Flight" and speaks with great skill and it calms me

Photo truly fascinating, congratulations for their dedication in making this shot!

The photos nests are not prohibited, it is important that they are made in accordance with the subject ... but this applies to all the photos, not only for those nests.

Sergio forgive me if I used a very strong word, but I really do not agree with the shot made nests, especially in hatching / hatching, there are so many photographers "inexperienced", to use a term staff, who have destroyed entire broods, for how much passion , respect, competence we can put you in doing this kind of photos you can always escape the incident, the game in my opinion is not worth it, as the picture is exciting and beautiful.
think that once a photographer, because of a sudden gust of wind dropped a camera in a nest ...... do not tell you the ending.
I took a position, even a little extreme if you like, after listening to these stories and lived, what can I do.
however, if I offended you in my previous message I'm sorry.
a greeting
Henry

I fully agree with what he wrote Henry, not so much for these pictures made by people that I think I also very experienced and certainly have been able to act without damage to nests but for those who want to emulate ........

Guys I understand the thought of who and 'contrary to these photos, I only have a certain allergy to extremism and approvals. As for the excuse of Henry are not due, as I have absolutely offended indeed, his sentence on the "builders of artificial nests" made me really sorridere.Credo that, as regards the thought of Rubacolor, to be his own opinion , and I think I have made clear in my speech that experiences are not for beginners. However, I think 'also in a naturalistic photography at 360 degrees, which is not limited to having the goal more' fast or the camera latest model, I prefer to chase, and do not misunderstand, the bird not the mode.
Greetings to all.
Sergio

Photo spectacular, just hoped that those who practice this discipline, is well aware that the slightest mistake the mother leaves the nest with consequences for the little ones, the important thing is always to do everything with the utmost respect for nature and especially those who, like in this case under . stepping stone to compliment me because mother and children do not seem disturbati.Saluti Flavio

Space !!
But I think as other forum users that this type of photo should be made exclusively by photographers "subject matter experts" otherwise disaster is around the corner.
