The magenta not vedo..veramente does not see the sampler of Ps

well then it's time to give a re-calibrated monitor:-(or in my eyes;-)

vertical version for me makes no sense Gian or at least for the way you posted, and even the recoveries for me with any format, returns even more effective cutting square Ilario.
The protagonist of this photo is and must remain the puddle, there is the sky that takes.

Catherine did not think badly though, nothing personal just a total disagreement on taglio..e let alone if it is otherwise;-)

I have marveled at the opposite;-):-D:-D but do not despair, the history of photography is written mainly in the 4/3 amok formats pano is a degeneration of the present:-D:-D
The monitors are ugly beasts, if they are not well calibrated top and often wrong, for what I ask Ps;-)

Thanks Fausto Catherine Simone and Hilary to be again focused on this shot. Vertical shooting I put it as a reference just to show that the format "right" I could not find it in any combianzione, so I'll settle for what came. Next time I carry the torch and melt the ice:-D

Thanks also to Ciska for the visit and the comment

Catherine, thank goodness you did not think male..a Joking aside, I am convinced of the veracity delletue statements because you are a thousand times more prepared than me, but how is it that, with a monitor, do not say professional, but still not sure of poor quality as a eizo s2433 calibrated colorimeter spider3pro continue to see the dominant magenta? is minimal is clear, but I continue to see it anyway.
For example on the tablet of my wife not rilevowow!

Mysteries of color management:-D've put a lot better than I like the monitor, did you bring me doubts and I double checked .. I values ??are increasingly on the blue, as I see them: - / maybe a shade with a deltaE out the average of your monitor, it may happen that even with an average result there are great individual values ??high, try to take a look at validation, for example, I had a printer that if carefully managed was pretty lavender fedele..però the printed rosawow! :-D

Hello Gianmarco, the shot has a shot that I like very much and I find it particularly great light very well run, very good as the shadows, that you have not closed as you like usually, congratulations:-P:-P

I'll be the only one, I have not read everything literally, but I agree with Simon for the slight magenta cast in shadow on the right (which still known by a calibrated monitor any ever in three years: fconfuso :),

To test monitor: I see even a slight cyan dominant on the snow of the leaves of the plants on the left and in the middle a little more in the snow below: I would not want to have problems with my monitor: fconfuso:

Then, even if the specific discounted on my part, the importance of which details are not even require an intervention in pp, so little can be seen;-)

Greetings, Michael

Thanks Michele

Now I organize myself to go there to see if there were dominant cyan and magenta on the snow .... But perhaps it is the PP:-D

thanks for the shadows, but in reality it was all in shadow;-)

Hello Gianmarco, a patch of water double face. If I observe it in a way I see a general embrace the three largest Italian islands, depicted in a form a bit 'naive and rough, but you can see Sardinia (bounded by the contours of the pond) that contains Sicily (the dark stain in dx) and Elba Island (the puddle left) a beautiful painting patriotic drawn on the snows of the Alps.
If we do not consider the geographical side here is that everything becomes a flag where the "Sicily" turns into a wolf snout which seems to vindicate those territories that were once inhabited by his ancestors. I think I've rambled too much but I like to "enter" in photographs that strike me at first glance, to discover those feelings that I have made them pleasure. If it were not for the pond would certainly admired the beauty of the landscape with the imposing Averau to dominate the valley.
A greeting

Riccardo
