at 17mm, 2 sec f/13.0, ISO 100, tripod. Parco Naturale Veglia - Devero, Italy.

Grazzie thousands of comments and recommendations;-)
Catherine: I was undecided until the last one being whether or not to snap the trunk on the left then I decided for this composition, but also to me after reviewing the photos on the screen does not thrill me that much ... but now was made: fconfuso: for shadows usually try to leave the scene for the way I remembered at the time of the shot, but here there was definitely an opening of the shadows, Catherine the pleasure of meeting you again was all mine, I hope that we will have some other time in the future;-)
Carlo
Andrea: Thanks for advice, I saw it too the halo: fconfuso: next time I will try to make a better selection;-)
a salutone at all:-P:-P:-P

According to me (then worth little) for certain shadows that could be more open ok but the spur is just fine I see almost to enrich the picture.
All the best, Dino

Hello Marco !! the atmosphere and the place you are spettacolari..per as regards the trunk errors as you all been said before ...
I think you could use the vertical cut then maybe the trunk would help ... but so 'second impact me too much and covers a part of the clouds reflected;-)

The vertical cutting had not thought of Gianluca, because even just above the sky was insignificant: fconfuso: when composing I thought of opposing the trunk in the lower left with the mountain top on the right: fconfuso :: :: fconfuso fconfuso : however, covering the shot have not been able to completely let me pleasure as a composition: fconfuso fconfuso :: :: :: fconfuso fconfuso: Thanks for the advice Gianluca is always a pleasure to receive your visit;-) a salutone:-P:-P: P

I understand your logic of composition that I find in favor. Quoto commented Dino, however, and this undoubtedly leads snap your signature. If that were all the brighter compo for sure we would gain, but in hindsight everything is more simple and practical! Greetings! :-P;-)

What a sight ... !!
The darkness dominates the shot, but the colors of the trees, light up the atmosphere, creating an interesting situation; conifers reflected, draw a profile of colors, which recall those of the lights behind the mountain ...
The strain in the foreground, keeps the mind firmly to reality, and leads the eye to the group of huts on the shore, surrounded by the beautiful autumn colors.
Congratulations, a photo dreamy and charming!
