I have many photos of Purple Gallinule shot in ambush, so the more "clean" and reasoned from the point of view of composition. The photos proposal has several flaws (of which I am aware) but I like the frame of marsh plants typical habitat of this species and essential in his diet. Also, I think a shot "stolen" during a move in the car makes it a good idea of ??how in a few years this has become flightless rail, faded from memory, a common presence in many areas of the island. No longer confined to the important wetlands where it was reintroduced at the beginning of the project, it is now common even in the outskirts of urban centers and industrial parks!

Ho molte foto di Pollo sultano scattate in appostamento, quindi più "pulite" e ragionate dal punto di vista compositivo. La foto proposta ha parecchi difetti (di cui sono consapevole) ma mi piace per la cornice di piante palustri tipiche dell'habitat di questa specie ed essenziali nella sua dieta. Inoltre, penso che uno scatto "rubato" durante uno spostamento in auto renda bene l'idea di come in pochi anni questo rallide sia divenuto, da sbiadito ricordo, una presenza comune in molte zone dell'Isola. Non più confinato alle importanti zone umide dove era stato reintrodotto all'inizio del progetto, è ormai frequente anche nelle periferie di centri urbani e poli industriali!
P.s. Un amico mi ha fatto notare in privato che... ho tagliato un dito al soggetto. "Ovviamente" si tratta di una mutilazione voluta: serve a dimostrare che la foto è realmente un no crop.  |
