Per chi si sta chiedendo cosa sia l'SHO... E' una tecnica di ripresa (ed elaborazione) che implica l'utilizzo di filtri detti narrowband, a banda stretta, che invece di lasciar passare tutte le lunghezze d'onda della luce si limitano a delle piccole bande (da qui il nome) Ne esistono di 3 tipi principali ed ognuno di questi esiste in diversi modelli con banda più o meno stretta, i più comuni sono a 6 Nm Ha - Idrogeno alfa Oiii - Ossigeno ionizzato Sii - Zolfo ionizzato L'utilizzo di questi filtri consente di riprendere facilmente in ambiente con forte inquinamento luminoso, visto che lasciano passare solo delle ridottissime lunghezze d'onda e per riprese anche con la Luna piena! Questo è il grafico con le loro lunghezze d'onda, in minore percentuale ci sarebbe anche l'idrogeno beta
Questi filtri sono utilizzati per la ripresa di nebulose ad emissione, come la suddetta Rosetta, per evidenziare la luminanza (perchè si utilizzano camere di ripresa monocromatiche) data dell'emissione (di luce) a seguito del decadimento di questi tre elementi (Ha, Oiii, Sii) che sono i più comuni Questa è un'animazione dei 3 segnali (Sii Ha Oiii) che ho ripreso, dove ogni frame è il risultante dell'integrazione di un paio d'ore di ripresa
Con il termine SHO si intendono i 3 segnali monocromatici mappati sui canali RGB Sii -> Red Ha -> Green Oiii -> Blu L'SHO è stato reso celebre dal fatto che è la palette utilizzata dall'Hubble, da qui Hubble Palette |
