Subjects :Waders, as Ruddy Turnstone, Piro Piro, Willet, Couriers and many others. Brown pelican (in winter with a little 'luck also the American White Pelican), Heron, Heron Tricolor, Snowy Egret, Little Egret reddish, Roseate Spoonbill, Ibis etc .. Among the birds of prey the Osprey is very present, it is sometimes possible spotting the bald eagle and the peregrine falcon. There are also many species of gulls.
Recommended equipment :Birds are very confident, for the 300 subjects older is sufficient, for the little ones better use multipliers. Some subjects are so confident to be photographed with the wide angle!
Best months :All year. Summer is very hot and rainy, winter is mild and dry. In spring, it can happen to photograph the nests and the new born.
How to get there :The most convenient and fastest way to get there is by car. To reach the beach need travel the state 41 and follow the signs to Fort Myers beach.
Visits :The beach is free and can be visited at any time. You just need to find an access road between the hotels that and opening the sea.
