Subjects : wildness, auroras Australis, stars, mirages, it is an unique place, Concordia base station is in the middle or Antarctica continent 3270m above the sea level on 3000 meters of ice.It is a remote Italian French research station not reachable for tourism. Hard environment for humans and gears, but there you have the chance to know you deeply and take some amazing pictures out of the ordinary.

Recommended equipment : Temeterature are very low. During winter season the average temperature is -70C degree which makes gear working not properly. resources are limited you need to invent yourself heater system for your camera and a good tripod is needed. Batteries survives just 10 minutes.

Best months : Winter season is unique few people can spend winter there.

How to get there : Reach Concordia is an adventure, via dedicated flight from Christchurch in New Zealand or via icebreaker via Tasmania. If lucky takes one week to reach Concordia.

Visits : It is not a tourist place, Concordia is a scientific research remote permanent station, Researchers or technicians can be there and few of them during the long Antarctica night.
