Una brevissima sintesi del documentario time-lapse dedicato al restauro di un glorioso aeroplano, il Beechcraft C-45 (il modello 18 venne introdotto in America già nel 1937), primo velivolo della nascente compagnia aerea Alisarda (1963) - ora Meridiana Fly - fondata dal principe Karim Aga Khan poco dopo lo sviluppo della Costa Smeralda (Sardegna, 1961). Ma questo è anche l'esemplare unico che venne utilizzato nelle scene del film di Bernardo Bertolucci 'L'ultimo Imperatore' (1987). E' stato un vero onore poter documentare attraverso la fotografia time-lapse (46000 scatti) unita alle riprese video la rinascita di questo importantissimo pezzo di storia dell'aviazione civile. Ho pensato di riprodurre un primo ipotetico viaggio dell'aereo, simulando un volo con AE, tutto in time-lapse, quello che scorre dietro il finestrino ed il volo delle ali, con un altro TL riprendendo il cielo che si muoveva sull'ala all'esterno dell'hangar. Poi un volo d'uccello che va quasi a sbattere all'aereo ed i ricordi dei tempi che furono ? come se questo rimembrasse ? ed il finestrino diventasse una sorta di monitor dove scorrono veloci le immagini. Il resto viene da sé. Grazie in anticipo per la visione!
