Cosa non fotografiamo mai, anche se è sotto i nostri occhi? In questo video iniziamo ad esplorare il Carnevale di Venezia da un punto di vista insolito: quello di chi sta dietro l'obiettivo. Il Carnevale è fatto di maschere spettacolari, costumi d'epoca e turisti da ogni angolo del mondo... ma soprattutto è fatto di fotografi. Da anni scelgo di fotografare proprio loro: figure solitarie o immerse tra le maschere, quasi buffe nella loro ricerca disperata del "momento perfetto". La nostra vera maschera è la macchina fotografica davanti al viso. A volte ne portiamo due, tre, carichi di lenti e speranza, tutti uniti dalla stessa ossessione: catturare la bellezza senza eguali di Venezia.
