Questi 144 fotogrammi sono il riassunto di 8200 fotografie e 410 video, ripresi in Islanda nell'aprile 2013 da Dario Ballabio e Paola Magni durante un viaggio con altri amici fotografi. Abbiamo girato un' Islanda ancora nella veste invernale, catturati dalla magia dei suoi paesaggi, dal vento e dall'imponenza della natura. Ma siamo rimasti in particolar modo colpiti dalle strade; o meglio si dovrebbe dire 'dalla strada', visto che la principale è una sola. Ma è una strada sempre diversa, una strada che sono cento strade. Strade dritte, storte, curve, piene di neve, dove non ci si vede a un palmo, ghiacciate, battute dal vento, impassabili, sterrate, sul mare, tra le montagne. Strade che attraversano l'Islanda. Strade attraverso tutto. Proprio come accade nei giorni 'normali': c'è sempre una strada che ti porta. Fotografie e video davvero spettacolari! Illustrano molto bene la magia dell'Islanda, uno dei viaggi dei miei sogni!
