Catania 1977 film super8, i miei primi anni di pratica fotografica. A 15 anni avevo già qualche anno d'esperienza in camera oscura, stampa e sviluppo di film e diapositive 35mm in B&N e colori (ah il Cibachrome) grazie a mio zio che aveva a casa un laboratorio foto perfettamente attrezzato e che mi ha dato precocemente il "virus" della fotografia. ho continuato la foto analogica con diverse fotocamere (la Nikkormat ho spaccato il pentaprisma durante un viaggio in Olanda nel 1979) : Topcon Unirex (l'unica reflex a otturatore centrale), Rollei 35, Yashica Fx2000 super, diverse Nikon Fm, Contax Q139, Leica R4, Leica SL Mot, ecc...e a partire dal 2002 ho avuto diversi corredi digitali Minolta e Canon. Ancora oggi pratico sia il digitale que l'analogico con delle Zenith E, Canon eos 500n, Leica R4 e Canon eos 5D e 6D. dal 2003 al 2008 ho scansionato tutti gli originali analogici (circa 100.000) in Tif 16bt 4000dpi per archiviarli e preservarli dalle muffe e funghi che già cominciavano a deteriorarle.
