Io pianifico i miei viaggi essenzialmente per un mio piacere...poi DOPO ci scrivo sopra una storia, il più delle volte quando sono tornato a casa. Alcune cose magari me le penso prima di partire, magari me le immagino, o cerco di impostare grossolanamente una struttura narrativa in cui incastrare quello che mi succede durante il viaggio....che non è ovviamente tutto quello che si vede nel video.
Gran parte di questo lavoro lo faccio poi dopo, semplicemente inventandomi un filo narrativo che unisca il materiale che ho girato.
Ma quando sono sul posto mi godo ogni istante del viaggio, limitandomi a tirar fuori la reflex per qualche secondo di ripresa qua e là, magari riprendendo me stesso mentre dico quello che mi passa per la mente, o spiego qualcosa sul luogo in cui mi trovo. Magari lo ripeto 2-3 volte, ma questo non pregiudica minimamente l'andamento del viaggio stesso, ci mancherebbe. Ad esempio, il video del viaggio a capo Nord è fatto con 2-3 ore di materiale, girate in un viaggio di 25 giorni...capisci che di tempo per fare altro ne avanza eccome :-) In alcuni momenti ovviamente mi impongo di fare determinate cose in funzione esclusiva del video, ma rientrano negli sforzi e sacrifici che sono necessari in qualunque processo creativo, dal video, alla fotografia, alla produzione di musica, eccetera....e per quanto mi riguarda sono parte integrante del piacere dei miei viaggi :-) |
