Autumn in my Mountains [Video] sent on December 10, 2014 (19:07) by Gabriele Prato. 132 comments, 8384 views.

Hello Gabriele, I am stepping stone to all the compliments, and I admire you for what you have been able to masterfully produce !!
If I, as a viewer, I would like to make just a note on the transition between a sequence and the other ....
Perhaps with a fade and no clear break you get a fluidity of different images.
Sorry for the criticism, you will surely spend much of your time on this wonderful work, but that's what I felt watching the video.
Congratulations again (magnificent places, I envy you very much) a greeting Nadia :-P

Hello Nadia, thanks for the view and the comments, I'm glad you liked it! As far as transitions .. if it were a series of photographs I'd agree with you, a slight fade would be better. But it is a video changes everything: if you pay attention, in any film, fades are used only in special conditions, very rarely. They may be there some fades on black, but usually the transition and 'always clear. I come from the photograph, not a director and not consider myself a filmmaker although I deal with timelapse. But one of the first things I learned approaching the timelapse, where and 'must do a real installation,' just one of the transitions: all professionals in the field of video I have always discouraged any transition .. just jump net except rare cases.

Thank likewisera, good day .. gabri

Amazing. The obsessive attention to the focus and sharpness immediately strike and the music is superb. An endless work but done with great commitment. Congratulations and we hope to soon see another wonder as this.
