Per me l'Africa che ho conosciuto nel 2013 è diventata una piacevole ossessione. Ci sono stato una dozzina di volte e quando rientro penso alla volta che dovrà ancora venire.
La passione per me è sopratutto rivolta nei confronti della fauna africana e dei loro comportamenti. Seguire una femmina di Ghepardo con i cuccioli per 6/7 ore continuate, vederla fallire ben tre attacchi portati su Gazzelle di Thomson, solo in queste occasioni ti rendi conto di quanta fatica facciano a nutrire i loro piccoli. Ti dirò, vista alla TV è un dispiacere quando un predatore cattura una Gazzella, ma dal vivo sinceramente pensando anche ai quattro cuccioli fa tutto un altro effetto.
